The Promise House Internship Program offers clinical supervision and training for graduate and post-graduate interns to provide high-quality, no-cost counseling to all Promise House teens and their families. Promise House has developed strong relationships with nine area universities and trains student interns each semester under the supervision of our licensed therapists. Promise House teens and their families are able to access essential individual, group and family counseling, and students are able to receive invaluable experience.
If you are interested in applying for a counseling internship, please email your cover letter and resume to Keri Stitt. Promise House only accepts Master’s level Counseling students or Licensed Professional Counselor-Interns. We do not accept Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors, as we do not provide treatment for substance abuse.
If you are interested in applying for a social work internship, please email your cover letter and resume to Regina Levine. Promise House only accepts Bachelor’s and Master’s level Social Work students.
Please understand that our staff are incredibly busy providing essential services to our youth. We will email you back based on our availability and your experience.
