Sleep Out Success

More than 40 of Dallas’s top business and community leaders slept under the stars on November 17, 2016 at Promise House’s 2nd Annual Sleep Out, raising more than $94,000 in funds to support our mission to help local homeless, runaway and at-risk youth.

Participants spent the night in the Promise House parking lot to simulate a typical night for local homeless youth. Promise House provided sleeping bags, cardboard boxes and beanies, but unlike those experiencing homelessness, sleepers had access to restrooms, on-site security, as well as food and beverages donated by La Calle Doce, El Fenix, 7-Eleven, Tom Thumb, Dude, Sweet Chocolate, Rusty Taco, and The Coca-Cola Company.

“A huge ‘thank you’ to our sleepers, sponsors, and everyone who supported the event – your dedication to our cause is the reason we were so successful. The awareness and dollars raised will go a long way to help the homeless and at-risk youth we serve.” – Tim Fisher, Sleep Out Event Chair
