Charles M. Wolford II

Chief Executive Officer

Charles M. Wolford II has spent over 25 years as a non-profit executive and administrator, consulting and training staff from organizations all over the nation, utilizing dynamic and cutting-edge approaches to programming, service delivery, supervision, treatment, and research. During his career, he has served disenfranchised populations stricken with poverty, homelessness, incarceration, untreated addictions and mental illness. He has held executive, leadership roles in nonprofit behavioral health organizations throughout the state of Texas, Kansas and Ohio. Prior to Joining Promise House, he was the Executive Director for Mission Central. He also served as the Associate Pastor of Outreach and the Executive Director of the Turn Around Agenda, the social outreach arm of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship. In that role, he oversaw the organization’s many programs including a public schools outreach program, a family care pregnancy center, human needs assistance, a technology and education institute, an athletic league, a summer camp, and a resale store. He is the Board President of One Church One Child of Fort Worth. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Minnie’s Food Pantry.  Charles holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Sociology and Criminology from Wilberforce University and received his theological training from Payne Theological Seminary in Wilberforce, Ohio. He is married to Diane and they are proud parents of three adult children.
