Goals, developed from assessment information, guide and pace a client’s healing process. By assessing not only the client’s struggles but also their strengths, our treatment team collaborates with clients to create counseling goals that meet their needs and help them reach their full potential. This is done by engaging clients in individual, group and family counseling.
Psychoeducation: We prepare our clients to begin their healing process by normalizing their challenges and educating them about trauma and its healing process.
Coping Skills: We facilitate the opportunity for our clients to expand their coping capacity by engaging them in various modes of counseling that emphasize mindfulness and social emotional health, which aid them in their struggles with on-going life stressors.
Crisis Intervention: Sometimes clients’ ongoing struggles manifest into crisis situations. We aid our clients through these crises by implementing a collaborative and comprehensive plan to keep them safe, both physically and emotionally.
