The Promise House Internship Program offers clinical supervision and training for graduate and post-graduate interns to provide high-quality, no-cost counseling to all Promise House youth and their families. Promise House has developed strong relationships with nine area universities and trains student interns each semester under the supervision of our licensed therapists. Promise House youth and their families are able to access essential individual, group and family counseling, and students are able to receive invaluable experience.
Promise House only accepts Master’s level Counseling students or Licensed Professional Counselor-Interns for our Counseling Internship. We do not accept Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors, as we do not provide treatment for substance abuse. Promise House only accepts Bachelor’s and Master’s level Social Work students for our Social Work Internship.
If you are interested in applying for a counseling or social work internship, please complete the Internship Program Form. Please understand that our staff are incredibly busy providing essential services to our youth. We will email you back based on our availability and your experience.
